A repair shop's day, without the juggling
The phone rings while you're doing brakes
On your booking page the customer picks the job and a free time themselves. You confirm the request once your gloves are off, or let bookings confirm on their own.
An oil service takes an hour, a timing belt half a day
Every service has its own duration and, if you need it, a buffer before the next job. Only times when the job really fits on a free lift are offered.
Cars dropped off at 8, worked on through the day
Allow more than one car at a time and put them side by side on the same lift. For online bookings you set how many cars fit at the same time.
“When did we last change the oil on this one?”
Every car keeps its history: date, job, price, mileage and what was done. Find it by the customer's name, phone number or plate.
What a repair shop's day looks like

What a repair shop needs most
Schedule by lift
The whole day, lift by lift. On a computer you drag a job to move it. On a phone you get a simple list by hour.
No double bookings
LiftSlot suggests the first free times and picks a free lift. By default, the same lift or mechanic never gets two jobs at once, unless you allow several cars at the same time.
Morning drop-offs
Customers leave their cars at 8 and you get to them during the day? Allow several cars at the same time and they line up side by side on a lift. For online bookings you can set how many cars a time can take.
Not on your list? Just describe it
Type what needs doing, pick how long it takes and book it. If it's a job you'll do again, save it as a service with one tap.
Customers and cars
Every customer and every car has its history: service, price, mileage and a note on the work done.
Book while they're on the phone
Type a name or number and it finds the customer and their car. “Same as last time” picks the same service, so all that's left is the time.
Staff and mechanics
Add your team with a password, or with a PIN for the shared tablet in the workshop, and give jobs to your mechanics.
Message the customer in one tap
“Your car's ready” or “Your booking's confirmed” is already written. Send it with WhatsApp or SMS, or copy it into Viber.

Questions from repair shops
Can I have lifts and bays without a lift?
Yes. Add as many bays as you have and name them the way your shop does: Lift 1, Pit, Tyres & A/C. Every job sits on its own bay.
How do I book a job when I don't know how long it takes?
Describe the job and pick a rough duration, or type the exact minutes. If it runs over, drag the next jobs to a later time on the computer, or change their time on your phone.
Can I give a job to a particular mechanic?
Yes. Add your team and pick a mechanic on the job. The same mechanic then never gets two jobs at once, unless you allow more than one car at a time.
I look after company cars too. Does that work?
Yes. A customer can be a company with several vehicles and a contact person, so you see the history of the whole fleet and of each car.
Does it send customers reminders?
Not on its own. Every job has “Message customer”: the message is already written, and you send it by WhatsApp, Viber or SMS from your own phone.
